WAVE

The WAVE Advanced Manufacturing program helps individuals gain the skills, credentials, and experience needed for careers in Ohio's growing manufacturing sector, connecting talent to opportunity through industry-focused training and workforce partnerships.

Headed up by the Business Solutions Team WAVE is a state funded workforce initiative designed to recruit, train, and place workers into advanced manufacturing and electric vehicle–related jobs across Central and Western Ohio.

What WAVE Provides

Through WAVE, participants can access:

• Industry‑recognized training and credentials aligned with advanced manufacturing and EV occupations
• On‑the‑Job Training (OJT) opportunities with participating employers
• Employers benefit from WAVE by gaining access to a prepared talent pipeline and wage reimbursement through OJT, helping offset the cost of training new hires for in‑demand roles.
