The Apprenticeship Hub Powered by Aspyr (The Hub), is a centralized resource for introduction and entrance into the apprenticeship system for employers, job seekers and training providers.

A recognized pre-apprenticeship program is:

  • Entry-level training and education which introduces a person to an industry or specific career.
  • Develops essential work-related skills.
  • Designed to prepare individuals to enter and succeed in a registered apprenticeship program.

The Hub develops and supports recognized pre-apprenticeship and registered apprenticeship programs by offering technical assistance to businesses, schools, and education programs that includes:

  • Program Development: Creating and implementing apprenticeship programs that meet industry standards.
  • Recruitment: Assisting employers in connecting with qualified job seekers. 
  • Regulatory Compliance and Administration: Ensuring that programs adhere to regulations and standards.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Ensuring accurate documentation and record-keeping for state reporting.
  • Monitoring: Participant progress and performance metrics. 
  • Continuous Improvement: Ongoing program assessments adjustments and revisions as necessary.
