Ohio Lieutenant Governor John Husted kicked off a new promotional video series filmed at the Columbus and Franklin County OhioMeansJobs Job Center. The short videos focus on OhioMeansJobs services for job seekers and why OMJ is a great resource for anyone looking for work or improving their marketable work skills.
“OhioMeansJobs Columbus-Franklin County does a great job helping both job seekers and employers,” said Bill Teets, Communications Director for the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services. “We appreciate their opening their doors to us so we can help all Ohioans understand the variety of services available through OhioMeansJobs.”
Scott Johnson, OMJCFC Job Center operator is prominently featured in the videos as the main spokesperson along with other OMJCFC staff. “I was excited to represent our Job Center, the wonderful partners we work with, and showcase the great work we do each day helping job seekers connect with our great Central Ohio employers.”
The videos will be aired on television as part of a statewide marketing campaign running from late April through June. The campaign is intended to increase awareness of OhioMeansJobs and connect much-needed workers to Ohio’s robust job market with thousands of in-demand, good-paying jobs.
