Late last year, the Workforce Development Board of Central Ohio issued an RFQ about conducting focus groups among women who have left the workforce during/due to the pandemic. As a project like this falls in our wheelhouse and sparks our intellectual curiosity, we were eager to apply. We too had been hearing many stories, local and national, about the millions of women who had exited the workforce. In our proposal, we posed the following question: What has happened to the women?
