Our Job Center (OMJCFC.org) is featuring 29 major employers at an in-person “Job Matching” event on Wednesday, April 26th. This event is led by OMJCFC Project Director Sonya Grant. “Job matching allows our staff to match jobseekers to employers ensuring they receive candidates with specified skills that fit the job descriptions. This extra step of job matching positions OMJCFC to become a leading Job Center serving both job seekers and employers” says Gant.
Among the many companies participating are the State of Ohio Department of Transportation, The City of Columbus, Corna-Kokosing, Huntington, OSU Wexner Medical Center, and many others. The event will be held from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the OMJCFC, 1111 E. Broad Street, Columbus, OH 43205. Registration in advance is encouraged. (link)

Saturday, May 13th, OMJCFC is partnering with Columbus City Schools (CCS) to present an in-person hiring event. CCS is hiring for hundreds of positions across a wide variety of needs. Job openings range from entry-level to experienced professionals. There are opportunities for everyone.
